When CO residents get a tax refund, they can now donate that refund directly to an eligible nonprofit. Nonprofits must be in good standing as a registered charity with the Secretary of State for five years (starting September 1, 2014).
There is no application process, any eligible nonprofit is automatically included on the CO Secretary of State website. The Network promotes local nonprofits eligible for this program.
